Hi, my name is Ronicia, and I’m reaching out for help during the hardest time of my life. I had no idea I was living with undiagnosed diabetes until, I went into cardiac arrest and fell into a diabetic coma for three days. When I woke up, I learned that I had developed severe necrosis, which led to the amputation of both of my legs and one of my arms. My world changed overnight, and now I’m facing unimaginable challenges—physically, emotionally, and financially.
As a single mother to two amazing boys, ages six and nine, my biggest fear is not being able to care for them the way I used to. They are my entire world, and I want to give them the best life possible despite these new obstacles. But the reality is, I need extensive medical care, physical therapy, and specialized equipment—including prosthetics, an electric wheelchair, and a functional arm prosthetic —to regain independence.
One of my most urgent needs is having a stable home a safe accessible living space is essential not only for my recovery, but also for giving my boys the sense of security and stability they need.
The costs of medical bills, rehabilitation, and adapting to this new way of life are overwhelming. That’s why I’m turning to you—my community, my friends, and kind-hearted strangers who are willing to help.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to rebuilding a life where I can be there for my boys in every way possible. If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this page. Your support and love mean more than words can say.
With love,
Ronicia
