Help a Single Mom After Storm Damages home in Oroville, CA, leaving it a total loss.

Hi friends, family, and strangers,
I’m writing on behalf of someone I love dearly—one of my best friends of 18 years. She is a single mother living in Oroville, California, and her family has recently experienced devastating and heartbreaking damage to their home.
Over the past months, the Oroville area has endured severe weather—storms, flooding, earthquakes, and unusual fog. A few weeks ago, during one of these storms, a tornado watch was issued. It's not sure what exactly touched down but it came down hard on her home.
The damage has been extensive. Her son’s trampoline—an essential therapy tool due to his autism—was completely destroyed, along with their swing set, chicken coop, fencing, shop, and more. Even worse, the ceiling in her daughter’s bedroom collapsed. Since then, mold has already been discovered in the ceiling and is spreading throughout the home.
Right now, the family is facing two difficult possibilities:
Their home may be condemned, or
They will need to repair it, which would mean being displaced for an unknown amount of time with no clear place to go.
On Christmas morning, she woke up to find her front porch roof torn away and behind her house.
This mom has not asked me to do this—but she needs help. She is the definition of kind and loving. She help absolutely everyone with her last dime and never asks for anything in return or any help, ever. She needs help and still has but asked because she isn't the kind to burden others. So I'm asking for her. Everyone who knows her knows she just never gives up, works so hard to provide for her kids.
How the funds will be used:
Temporary housing or relocation costs if the home is deemed unsafe.
Possibly the purchase of a Travel trailer to live in
Replacement of her son’s fully enclosed trampoline (a critical part of his daily therapy and emotional regulation)
Gas cards, gift cards, restaurant gift cards.
Packing supplies, especially large plastic storage bins with lids to protect belongings from mold damage.
Right now, plastic storage bins are one of the most urgent needs so she can safely pack up her home. Any support—financial or otherwise—will make a real difference during this overwhelming time.
I know money is tight for many families, and there is absolutely no pressure to donate. If you’re unable to give, sharing this fundraiser is deeply appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read and for supporting a hardworking mom and her children during this difficult season.
Thank you
❤️
