This took EVERYTHING in me to make this GoFundMe because I'm not used to asking for help or involving people in my personal financial business. At this point, I'm desperate and scared.

I am a single mother of 2 amazing kids that I have raised completely on my own. I've always worked so hard and always figured out ways to make ends meet. I did everything I could to move my kids and I out of the city of Philadelphia and into our own house, in the suburbs. I was at my last job for 5 years working as a National Sales Executive in the telecommunications field. Unfortunately, myself and the rest of my sales team were let go and replaced by AI agents! I have been applying for jobs everywhere, working dead-end, under-the-table jobs paying me pennies to stay afloat. I feel so defeated.

I am behind 2 months on my rent and my landlord is threatening to sell my home if I don't pay the rent for June and July by the beginning of August. My daughter worked so hard to get into the technical high school and into the cosmetology program. I have to pay for her kit by August 27th, which will cost $733.12. If it's not paid in full, she will lose her place at the tech school.
