Single Mom and Salon Owner Out of Work with No Pay

My name is Crystal, I've been a stylist for 20 years servicing the Plainville area. Rouge is a Full Service Salon that I opened in 2011, it has been a growing community of love and support through the years. I'm reaching out to my amazing Rouge community and family. As a single mom and business owner, I'm looking for help to keep life for the salon and my personal life afloat while I am out for surgery in October for a suspicious pre-cancerous breast lump. Breast cancer runs in my family. Knowing this, a second surgery for margins may be needed followed by possible radiation. Doctor's orders have me out for 4 weeks to start.

After my ex-husband dropped me off his health insurance, it's been a struggle to find the proper insurance for my oncology needs. The medical bills just keep piling up, and it’s just the beginning.

For those who know me, It is hard to admit that I need help. We are in need. We are short staffed at the salon while we search for a new esthetician, senior stylist and junior stylist. Only three service providers will be keeping the entire salon going while I'm away. The amount of people that depend on me has become so heavy, I’m afraid I won’t be able to provide for my community and family during this time.
