Please help a sister in need with clearing her debt (Zakat Eligible) that is known to the family as a genuine case

I pray you are in the best of health and Imaan, and that this blessed month of Ramadan brings you endless peace and barakah.

This sister is struggling both physically and emotionally. She lives alone with no family to support her, and is carrying a heavy burden of £13,000 in debt, left behind by her ex-partner.

The sister is trying her best to manage on her benefits, but her disability makes life even more difficult.

The sister qualifies for Zakah under the category of Al-Gharimin (those in debt). Her debt is not from luxury or personal extravagance. She was in an extremely difficult situation, going through abuse while also struggling with her disability. During that time, she took on debt to help her ex-partner, not realising the consequences it would have on her later. Unfortunately, he left her with this burden, and now is struggling to survive alone. Her health is declining, and with no family or support, even simple daily tasks like cooking, shopping, and bathing have become incredibly difficult. Some days, the sister doesn’t have enough money for food because she is trying to clear this debt.

The sister struggles with rheumatoid arthritis, which has affected her legs, hands, shoulders, and hip. It is now impacting her spine, causing wear and tear. This sister is also dealing with type 2 diabetes and has been experiencing chest pains. Her legs and fingers have started to become disfigured due to the arthritis, making things even more difficult for her.

Due to her condition her ex-husband left her and parents are both deceased with no children the sister worries she will pass with this debt still not cleared.
