Help a Senior Build a Soccer Scoreboard for His School Project! ⚽

Hi! My name is Ashton, and I’m a 17-year-old senior at Moreno Valley Preparatory . As part of my final year project, I’m designing and building a custom soccer scoreboard for our school’s soccer field—and I need your help to make it happen!

Our current field doesn’t have a scoreboard, and every game, players and fans are left guessing the score. My goal is to build a fully functional, student-designed scoreboard that will benefit not only this year’s team but future athletes and fans for years to come.

This project isn’t just about sports. It combines engineering, coding, design, and teamwork—all things I’m passionate about and planning to study after high school. I’ve already created the plans and started sourcing parts, but building a scoreboard from scratch costs more than I can cover on my own.

What the funds will go towards:

Screws, 6 2x4x8, a 1”x4x8 plywood board, 2 hinges, a wooden dowel, paint, weather proof finish, elbow braces, and handles to carry it.
