Hello, my name is Kayleen. We are trying to raise money to take a senior trip for my son to visit cool places and see family. We usually do odd jobs to get this money (which we have done some), but I have recently been diagnosed with myositis and, even more recently, been sick with pneumonia, which will not go away due to my immune system being compromised from new medications. Meaning it has been hard to do jobs. I'm barely keeping up with housework!

First, let me just tell you a little about my son! He is a shining light! He excels in school, has done early college, is a multi-sport athlete all year long, and excels at them. He is also a volunteer firefighter, he has helped people build cabins, and is always the first one to help. He gives back to his community by coaching and helping others. He is the type of person to give you a hug if you look like you need it! He holds down a job, helps with odd jobs, and has even tried his hand at some carpentry jobs to help (trying to save money for college and get his truck fixed).

I would love to make this the most memorable trip before he heads off to college. All he gives to so many people, I would love for him to see what you get back when you put out so much positivity into this world, all while chasing his dreams!
