A few weeks ago, my sister found a very sweet, docile cat who was clearly not doing well on his own. He’s frightened, and doesn’t appear to be feral, which makes us believe he was likely abandoned by a previous owner.

We brought him to the vet, where he was scanned for a microchip, but unfortunately none was found. We’ve also made attempts to locate an owner, but those efforts have not been successful. Given his condition and the circumstances, it became clear that he needed care immediately.

After his veterinary visit, we learned that he needs to be neutered and vaccinated, and he’s currently suffering from painful ear infections as well as an upper respiratory infection. While these issues are treatable, they require medication, follow-up visits, and proper recovery time.

With below-freezing temperatures and recent snowstorms, outdoor life has been especially dangerous. He was initially kept safe in her a garage, but as the cold worsened, it became clear that wasn’t enough — so he was brought inside to keep him warm, protected, and able to begin treatment.

Despite everything, he is incredibly sweet, calm, and trusting. He deserves the chance to heal, be comfortable, and live a healthy life.

We’re raising funds to help cover:

   •   Veterinary exams and treatment

   •   Medications for ear infections and upper respiratory infection

   •   Neutering and vaccinations

   •   Follow-up visits and recovery care

Every dollar raised will go directly toward his veterinary expenses. If we’re fortunate enough to exceed our goal, any remaining funds will be donated forward to Nine Lives Feline Rescue in Norton.
