Hi everyone, I’m Ludo Liu from the YouTube channel Ludo Liu.
While exploring Lagos and sharing stories from Nigeria, I came across a small, remarkable school in the heart of Makoko — one of the most challenging environments in the world. This school educates over 100 children, many from families so poor they struggle to afford even basic meals, let alone school fees.
The teachers at this school work tirelessly for as little as $7 USD a month for some of them. Thanks to previous efforts and the support of amazing donors, the school was able to move from a tiny wooden shack into a stronger, safer building. But the journey is far from over. The head teacher, Yemi, still needs help to pay her teachers a decent wage and to recruit new staff to keep the school running.
I’m using my platform on YouTube to launch this GoFundMe because I believe we can come together and make a real difference.
Every penny raised will go directly to the school’s bank account in Nigeria. No middlemen. No cuts. Just pure support for education and hope in Makoko.
