Support A SafeHouse

My name is Calvin Venus; I'm an Englishman living in America, a Houston-based producer/engineer with a full-service, 1200-square-foot private recording studio called A SafeHouse. I specialize in weird and wonderful music, ranging from rock to hip hop, jazz to gospel, and country to folk and more. My passion has given me the opportunity to collaborate with clients from all over the world.

On the morning of August 22nd, someone broke into A SafeHouse and stole instruments, a drum machine, turntables, my precious speakers, several mics and blank checks. I walked into a mess; it was hard to stomach that someone would break in and steal hard-earned, self-funded equipment from my space. They violated the house that was built on the love of music. According to the police, this person may know me, they may know what I do, what I'm about, and whom I represent. They're aware this hurts me, my kids and my clients; I feel gutted and violated.

I'm encouraged by the love and support from friends and family to start this GoFundMe Campaign. I'm optimistic that I'll be back to making great music for my clients and their fans soon.
