Help Give My Mom a Safe Way Home
Hi friends,
I’m reaching out with a full heart and a plea for support. My mom is currently in the hospital battling a severe cellulitis infection in her leg that turned septic. She’s also lived with lymphedema for years, which has made this infection even more dangerous and difficult to fight. It’s been an emotional and frightening experience for all of us. Right now, she’s on oxygen support, which is helping stabilize her, but her recovery journey is far from over.
As we look ahead to the day she can finally come home, we’re faced with a tough reality: our house just isn’t safe for her anymore. Her mobility has been deeply affected, and stairs have become a serious risk. To give her a safe and accessible way back into her home, we need to build a front porch with a ramp.
This isn’t just about construction—it’s about restoring her independence, protecting her safety, and preserving her dignity after everything she’s been through.
The truth is, we can’t do this on our own. Between mounting medical bills and daily expenses, we’re stretched thin. That’s why I’m turning to our community for help.
If you know my mom, you know how deeply she loves, how fiercely she cares, and how quick she is to show up for others. Now, we need that love and support to come full circle.
Every donation—big or small—will go directly toward building the ramp and making her home safe again. If you’re not able to donate, please consider sharing this with others who might be able to help.
Thank you, truly, from the bottom of our hearts.
Christopher Dill
