Support a Safe Home for Chronic Illness Recovery

I did not have chronic disease on my 2025 bingo card. When I went into the hospital last Tuesday, I knew something was wrong but didn’t know how wrong. Turns out I had a severe infection and they’re starting the process to diagnose me with severe Crohn’s disease. Due to anatomical complications, we couldn’t get it done at the hospital, so it’s going to take weeks to get the swelling down and then attempt again in outpatient with a specialist.
Right now, what I need more than anything is a group to come and professionally clean my home. I do not have the energy, but soon I will be off antibiotics and prone because of the heavy steroids they have me on, and then I will be starting biologic infusions which will make the issue worse.
Because of a flood and subsequent rodent infestation which has been dealt with, my home is not safe for me as an immunocompromised individual.
I am getting the estimate from the biological cleaners, but it looks to be in the range of $10k for a complete declutter and sanitization clean. The remainder will go towards extra sheets, bathroom supplies, medical appointment costs, PPE, etc., as needed for my condition. If there is more than my planned amount made, I will use it for modifications to my home and remodeling to make it safer after the damages it’s received.
Thank you all for your assistance at this time.
