Hello, I’m trying to raise funds on behalf of an individual who is in dire need of assistance. This person is retired and therefore on limited funds, like a lot of us are. About eighteen months ago, a leak developed in his home. Unable to afford repairs, the leak progressed, resulting in two very expensive water bills. Again, unable to afford the water bills, this person’s water service was turned off. He has been living in a hotel at an expensive of $400 a week. He’s facing increasing costs for insurance, even at the bare minimum coverage, and can barely afford medicine and food. I am trying to raise money for the restoration of his water service, which is $1,057, and possibly a leak detection company to visit his home, which I’ve been quoted at around $400. He may also need a tree removed at his home. He told me that a tree’s roots are what damaged the pipes and caused a leak. If anyone could be willing to help, I would be so thankful, and I’m sure he would too. I am trying to protect his privacy, and he doesn’t even know I am doing this. I am willing to produce receipts for everything paid from this fundraiser. Just trying to help another human in need. Thank you.
