Support a Resilient Soul Rebuilding After Loss

Hi Everyone! Unfortunately, in the devastation of Hurricane Helene, my Great Uncle’s apartment flooded and received 41 inches of water. Everything inside is a total loss and his renter’s insurance will not cover replacement or repair of anything.

He is 82, widowed, and has battled lymphoma on and off for over 10 years. Through it all, his positivity and light are truly unmatched. He’s honestly one of the most kind and selfless people I know.

Although we are grateful that he is safe and has temporary housing, the process to rebuild and start over will take a toll on him. He lost many antique and sentimental items from his late wife in the flood that cannot be replaced, alongside food, clothes, and all of his furniture.

In an effort to lessen the burden on him and bring a little positivity to what is an otherwise devastating situation, I am sharing this for anyone that could help.
