Support a Rescue Dog, Maddie's Hospitalization

Hi, my name is Christine Personius, I'm Kellen Lancer's Great Aunt.

Kellen has a HEART OF GOLD when it comes to animals and recuing dogs. Many of you know me and how I support animals in need, this "kid" has gone above and beyond what I will ever be able to do. I dare to say she has helped save over 100 animals by working with the Georgia Puppy Pipeline, shelters in Arizona, and now Tennessee, which is a VERY HIGH KILL area.

Kellen has recently taken in and saved 6 more dogs from euthanasia. One of them, Maddie had been shot in the leg twice and is just about a year old. Kellen rescued her from the kill list in September. Last week, Maddie became very sick and had to be taken to the Emergency Veterinary Animal Hospital in Memphis. It appears she had a virus that turned into pneumonia. Maddie had to be on oxygen for 10 days ($1,000/day) plus medications and IV fluids.

I've started this GoFund Me to help Kellen with some of these expenses so that she can continue to save more dogs... they come to her in all sorts of ways. She won't be able to help any more in the near term unless she has some help. She doesn't know I'm creating this fundraiser since she prefers to stand on her own and "doesn't want help". I am SO PROUD of her for everything she has done to help animals and I want to do whatever I can to help her be able to save more!!
