Barbarians Rowing Club, Henley 2025 Fundraiser

We’re a group of nine mates from Brisbane, all passionate rowers who have been given the rare opportunity to compete at the Henley Royal Regatta in the UK this July — one of the most iconic and historic rowing events in the world.
We’ll be racing in the Thames Challenge Cup, proudly representing Barbarians Rowing Club, Australia. We’ll be the first Queensland crew to ever line up in the event’s 157-year history, and we feel incredibly lucky to have this opportunity.
Having come up through the school rowing programs at Brisbane Grammar and Gregory Terrace—racing each other countless times along the way—we’ve stayed close through our love of rowing. With many of us studying law, we’ve been balancing full-time study and part-time jobs with early mornings and relentless training to ensure we reach our potential at the regatta.
While we’re each covering our own travel costs, we’re hoping to raise funds to cover the crew’s shared expenses — including regatta entry fees, logistics, and essential equipment. Any amount, big or small, would mean the world to us.
Thank you so much for your support — we can’t wait to represent our club, state and nation on the world stage.
