Support a Plumber's Family in Need of a Car

Shalom beloved brothers and sisters. My husband and I need your help. We are in need of a vehicle. We live in Augusta, GA, and transportation is a must. Recently, we had a car that a man sold to us. Actually, it was a "loaner" until he, as he said, "could find us something better." He made promises to keep up the maintenance (oil changes, put coolant in the air conditioner, tires, tune-ups, brakes, etc.), but he went back on his word. Needless to say, we came out of pocket doing all the work, and he never found us another car. To make matters worse, there were two liens on the car, so we couldn't get it registered or get a tag. Then the CV axle broke, and because it was on the side of a busy street, the car got towed. I was working as a driver for people around Augusta, earning money to help my husband in between paychecks. He works full-time as a plumber and has been with his job for three years. Now, we struggle to get consistent, dependable rides for him to get to work, and many times he takes the bus home. Yes, you might say, "Good! He rides the bus!" But the buses in Augusta are an hour in between each one, and they're not always on time. So, they're not very dependable either.

So, we're trying to raise enough money to get either a down payment for a vehicle or to just outright purchase a cash car. Things are extremely tight, and without me being able to help as I once did, rent and other things are falling behind. Family and friends are tired of helping us, and many times our calls are ignored, or they're struggling and can't help.
