Support a pilgrim to Rome
Donation protected
The pilgrimage from Canterbury to Rome is known as the Via Francigena. It is an approximately 1,200-mile journey that I will be doing on foot over 90 days, starting at the beginning of April 2022. I have been working to save the money to cover food and travel costs for my pilgrimage, but I need help with the cost of my accommodation each night while I am on the path to Rome.
Accommodation costs will vary. I hope to stay where possible in monasteries and similar institutions providing a roof over pilgrims' heads, but there will be many nights when I will have to stay in guesthouses. I anticipate that the cost of accommodation will be up to 30 Euros a night. On arrival at Rome, I intended to give all unused funds that I have raised to Peter's Pence to support the work of our Holy Father, Pope Francis.
You will be able to track my progress on the route. Every day I will upload a picture and location from my walk onto my Instagram feed.

Many thanks for your prayers and any financial support you can give me, and may God bless you,
