For the past five years I've had the privilege of traveling around the world with a camera in hand. I've swam with the whales of French Polynesia and trekked with the mountain gorillas of Uganda. I've been able to see some of the most beautiful landscapes and I've met some of the most incredible people.

I've recently been approached with an opportunity to travel back to Svalbard- the land of the mighty polar bear. Svalbard is the last stop before the North Pole. During my trip, I'll be aboard the R/V Kinfish, along side Nat Geo photographer Andy Mann, for 11 days. We'll be searching for wildlife, taking in the landscapes, and hopefully, photographing a polar bear or two.

This will be my third trip there- for some reason this place keeps calling me back. It's one of the most awe inspiring places I've ever been.
