Support a Palestinian Student pursue her M.A in the UK

I am fundraising for a Palestinian student B from Ramallah who was accepted into a Masters's program at SOAS. Due to the current situation in the West Bank, where the zionist occupation forces have begun an ongoing large-scale military operation, it is crucial that she get the funding to study in the UK. She needs the funds to finance the tuition fee (25k) and accommodation (15k). Without enough funds, B will not be able to attend university and will be forced to remain in a conflict zone.

B's story :

Growing up, I didn’t have the peace of a normal life. Instead, I was born and raised in a highly tense, colonized, and violent region—one that is now often in the news as the site of one of the largest genocides of the modern age. I was born in Palestine, in a city called Hebron. While other children made memories at the beach or around family dinner tables, my memories are of Fridays, hearing the call to prayer, and bracing myself as my family and I made our way to the Ibrahimi Mosque, only to be met with violence from settlers who had taken our land.

Life in Hebron was far from easy, but it forged me into who I am today. It gave me an unshakable sense of purpose: to be a voice for Palestinians, to fight for our rights, and to make our struggles known to the world. With limited opportunities in Palestine, I started my career in the private sector, but my heart has always been in advocacy. I’ve volunteered as a mentor, joined global initiatives, and seized every opportunity to represent Palestine on the world stage.

Eight years later, I finally found my way into a humanitarian organization, aligning my professional life with my mission. My goal is to help vulnerable communities in Palestine, especially in Hebron, by creating better opportunities for future generations.

I believe that my experiences and education are powerful tools for raising awareness and driving change. I envision a future where I can serve as a mentor and role model for Palestinian women, inspiring them to lead with confidence and make a proactive impact in their communities. My ultimate goal is to break down barriers and challenge societal norms, creating a more inclusive and equitable world for all. I am determined to leave a lasting legacy, empowering future generations to continue the fight for justice and equality in every aspect of life.
