I never thought I’d be writing something like this. At the age of 37, I’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer. I just recently had a biopsy to stage and subtype. I’m just a little over a week in, and medical bills are starting to pile up. Im a mom, and I don’t want my family affected by my diagnosis as much as possible. This is by far the scariest, hardest situation I’ve ever found myself in, especially since I’m a nurse and have been on the other side of this. Anything helps! I just want to make sure that if anything happens to me, my family has a safety net to fall back on and won’t be super burdened.
