Support a Nurse's Family in Their Time of Need

Hello, I have been a nurse for 25 years, currently working as a pediatric nurse. I pride myself on helping everyone, so asking for help is hard. Recently though, there have been a cascade of misfortunes that my family and I are having a hard time overcoming. Our very dependable car recently had the engine blow while driving down the interstate. I pray every morning just going to work that it will make it. No dealership will take my car as a trade-in because of the engine.

I hate to ask for anything, but am asking for the very minimum I need to buy a dependable vehicle or at least a down payment on one. I have been in contact with several dealerships and have even asked on marketplace if sellers would take payments but no luck. Please help if you can. I need to be able to go to work and help the kiddos and their families. Thank you in advance for any way you can help and God bless you.
