TLDR: I am fundraising for a disabled, undocumented friend from school at Harvard who is self-deporting for their safety. They requested to remain anonymous for their safety, but their bank account is tied to this fundraising campaign. All funds go directly to this friend. The blurb below is written directly by them. Please, if you recognize who this is based on their art or their story, do not comment any identifying information.

I am a undocumented person seeking help to fund my relocation from the United States to a city that can offer a new start. Growing up in the United States, I spent my early adulthood doing it "right," attending top universities, graduating from Harvard while also establishing an art career on the side. Having been in a detention as a child, I have lived with the fear of being deported and since the start of this administrations' tenure, I have been ridden with the fear of going back and triggered into mental health crisis over all the news that have swamped the nation over the last couple of months. Despite my qualification, I am seen as a liability for any company. I am being rejected over my undocumented status and have run out of options for starting and maintaining a life in the United States.

While I would have wished to stay in a country that I call home, the danger of walking or driving has limited my life and the burden has become too heavy to carry. A two edge sword, leaving the United States would trigger a ten year ban with the potential of a permanent ban. However, given that there is no end in sight for immigration reform, my time in the United States has run out.

I am looking for support to fund my transition, with a goal set for 30k, used for flights, housing, food, emergency health care expenses, and any visa/governmental fees that I will need as I find a place I can call home. Any support is welcomed and can be sent to them directly (ask Bree) or gifted through my anonymous gofundme.
