Writing The Squad: Rising began in 2020, when a younger me needed friends and thus created my own. Years later, they have developed into the main characters of an incredible series that I hope and pray provides other children with friends on the page, like it did for me.

The Squad: Rising will be a 9-book faith-filled adventure series, with its animal characters going on inspiring adventures across their fantastical world in battles of good versus evil. It's written especially for homeschool kids ages 8-12 by a homeschool graduate who was raised on The Chronicles of Narnia, The Green Ember, and the Wingfeather Saga.
