Support a New Beginning: Return to the UK

I have been living in the United States for the last 20-some years and have been really fortunate to have had great jobs and places to live. However, in the last 12 months, I have not been able to find any work. I have gone through all of my savings, sold my investments, and used up my 401K. I am also now about to be made homeless.

I have no family in the US; I came here as an adventure by myself. I could go back to the UK and try to start over, but I don't have the funds to get back there, hence the GoFundMe.

I'm a proud person, so I want to get back on my feet as quickly as possible, and if that means giving up my American dream, so be it. I have a software product that is about a year from publishing, so I hope to start a business and be in a position to hire people. Right now, however, I'm in a place where I cannot continue.
