Support a New Beginning: Help with Education Costs

Hello friends, life has been very challenging for me recently. I have definitely had some ups and downs over the past few years with the most recent being the divorce I'm currently going through. Normally, all of these things would lead me to withdraw into sadness and depression, but this time I am trying to find a better way to get myself up and motivated to be better. I'm 42 with an associate's degree ( from 2004) in computers. I have decided to further my education and I hope to be able to get a bachelor's degree in Accounting and Financing. With this new degree, my opportunities for work and growth will expand greatly and it will help me find stability and allow me to improve my current situation. More importantly, it will allow me the freedom to be more independent and become better than I have been before.

I have had a lot of struggles and when things get bad, I tend to hide. Not this time. I want to rise above it all and just be better. Not for anyone else but for myself. I have been accepted to SNHU (online courses). Classes start March 4th and I have worked out my financial aid which will cover most of my tuition. What I need is just a little bit more to carry me there. Your donation will pay for the remaining out-of-pocket costs that financial aid won't cover and the books and materials I'll need for classes. You have all been so supportive of me through this time in my life, and those of you who know me understand just how difficult a post like this is for me to make. Even if you aren’t in a position to help me out here, know that it’s meaningful to me that you even took the time to read all of this. Thank you for being a part of my life.
