Support a New Beginning for Pet Care

Hello Everyone,

I’m passionate about providing pets with the care they deserve and after much thought I have decided to create this GO FUND ME for the purpose of starting over at a new location business due to a sudden, unexpected, and tragic incident that took place at my last location which made me realize how important it is to have my own space. I’ve decided a change must be made and that my time there has come to an end.

 

Now, I’m determined to have my own building in a dedicated, secure, and welcoming space where pets and their owners can feel at ease. Everyone that knows me knows I LOVE all my clients and when in my care I am ALWAYS putting their safety as well as mine FIRST. I have been grooming for well over 12 years and had never experienced anything like what happened before. I’ve never been so upset and traumatized in my life. I was hesitant on sharing this story but it’s important to understand why I am asking for help.

 

On November 25,2024, One of my clients (Mini Poodle) was attacked and killed by another dog. My shop was located inside a Pet Boarding business, which made sense because they would have a in house groomer if boarders needed a service before pickup. While taking my client out to potty she was attacked by one of the boarding dogs and instantly killed. I can’t go fully into details however just know I have never been so afraid, upset, scared, helpless and traumatized in my life. Due to this incident, I feared for the safety of my clients and that I can’t stand for, I could not return to my shop after this. Since this took place, I reached out to all my Pet Parents and informed them, they have all been very supportive and for that I am truly grateful. This was so unexpected and has affected my business tremendously. After taking a step back from grooming to get my mental health back in order, I’ve decided to move in A new location in East Point on Main st. Your support will help me cover startup costs like plumbing for a new tub, painting and movers to my new pet friendly workspace by February 18th. No amount is too small.
