Hello everyone! It's been a while since I've asked for anything for my birthday, but I'm hoping that you'll lend some support for what I'm asking for this year. In recent years, my neighbors and I have been working to support immigrant families in our community. My neighbors are amazing—they show up in big and small ways: donating food, clothes, giving rides, connecting folks with resources, the list goes on and on.

There is one family in particular that I'm really close with that needs some extra support right now. It's a family of 8 that typically gets by on one income, but for two months the main income earner has been injured and cannot work. He is on the road to recovery, but they will need one more month of rental assistance to get by.

I know that there are so many who want to help right now and to show that we live in warm and welcoming communities, which is why I'm taking the step to reach out. Any amount helps to demonstrate the kind of neighbors we truly are.
