Support a Navy Vet's Burial With Dignity
Donation protected
My dad has been in a home for almost 2 years. His health was okay, but not terrible. In the last week, it's rapidly gotten worse and he has days at most. He didn't have life insurance, no assets, and no money. It's left me, his second daughter, with the burden of paying for his funeral. He wants to be buried, but I fear if I don't have the funds he will need to be cremated. I can't put myself into financial crisis as awful as it may be. He's a Navy veteran, served 1974 to 1977. He was on the USS Harlan County for most of his service and ended on the USS Barbour County. I'd like to bury him with his parents and grandparents, but if there isn't room, I'll either have to buy a new plot or have him buried in a veterans cemetery. The VA in NH doesn't pay hardly anything, and only after everything is paid for. Anything helps. A share, a dollar, whatever you can.
