Hi, my name is Anne, and I’m a Navy veteran. Recently, I was laid off from my government job, which has been a significant challenge. On top of this, I’ve lived with bilateral tremors in all of my limbs, becoming so severe that they affected my quality of life, making even basic tasks nearly impossible. Unfortunately, the medication I’d been using no longer worked, and after exhausting all other options, my doctors recommended surgery.

On April 1, 2025, I underwent brain surgery and had a pacemaker implanted to help control the tremors. This Deep Brain Stimulation surgery has proven to be a Godsend providing me the relief I desperately needed; I am however still unable to work during my recovery .

With my current financial situation, I’m finding it extremely difficult to manage living expenses, medical bills, and the cost of recovery. That’s why I’m reaching out to you for help.
