Hi all, I am raising money to help one of my very close friends.
A few days ago, my friend's house was on fire. It was seriously damaged and her family lost many valuable goods. The worse thing is that her brother, a high school student, was in the house when the accident happened. The firefighters found him lying on the kitchen floor, seriously burnt and losing consciousness. Until now, he is still in ICU and receiving special treatment from doctors and nurses.
My friend's family just came from Vietnam to the United States last year in hope of a better life. They made a lot of effort throughout the last year to recently settle down. However, the accident caused them a serious loss and put my friend's brother's life in danger. Her family now surely faces a lot of financial problems, especially the hospital fee and other expenses.
As I am one of the few friends she has at Mississippi State, I really want to help her as much as possible, but unfortunately, I cannot personally support her when it comes to financial problems. Thus, I am seeking financial help from you and various organizations. I am not sure about the exact amount of loss and other expenses, so I cannot request an exact amount of funding. However, I still hope to receive as much help as possible. If you can donate or know of any charitable organizations/ donors that can help, please let me know ASAP.
