Support a Mother's HS Medical Recovery

I am a mom of 2 and I suffer from a condition called hidradenitis suppurativa (HS for short) which I have always managed to maintain until late 2024.

Back in mid September 2024, I had an extreme flare up right before my sons 8th birthday. I had to put on a big smile and brave face to celebrate his day meanwhile feeling like my skin was literally on fire. I tried my best to withstand the pain, hoping that with my usual care, the flare would subside as it has always done before.

However by the end of October, it flared up so much that I had no choice but to admit myself into the hospital with a high fever and sepsis scare. I was released 4 days later in good spirits that hopefully all this would be put behind me.

That was until I received multiple hospital bills that tallied up to 8 grand with no way to pay it.
