Hi, my name is Arundhuti, and I am writing this on behalf of my dear friend Saumen Biswas Anik, who is from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Today, I’m reaching out with deep humility to share the story of his mother, Mita Rani Singha, and to ask for your prayers, support, and kindness during an incredibly difficult time for their family.

Saumen’s mother is a dedicated high school teacher in Magura, Khulna. She is loved by her students, respected by her colleagues, and cherished by everyone who has had the privilege of knowing her.

In May 2024, she was diagnosed with liver cancer—news that shook their entire family to the core. Just two months later, in July 2024, she bravely underwent a major surgery to remove a large tumor from her liver. The surgery was extremely complex, yet she faced it with remarkable strength and unwavering hope.

After the operation, she began targeted therapy to prevent the cancer from returning. Saumen and his family stood by her through every step, believing she was finally moving toward recovery.

But in September 2025, their world was shaken once again. Doctors found that cancerous elements had reappeared and were forming new lesions, with the potential to develop into tumors. This unexpected recurrence forced an urgent shift in her treatment plan.

She is now receiving immunotherapy along with chemo-embolization (TACE therapy). These treatments are intensive and require continuous cycles, constant monitoring, and frequent hospital visits.

Despite her incredible bravery, the emotional and financial burden on the family has grown beyond what they can bear alone. They are doing everything possible to support her fight—but at this stage, they urgently need help to continue her treatment and give her the best possible chance at healing.
