Hi there, 4 months ago I had my fourth baby ago via C-section and had severe complications six days after birth. I developed postpartum preeclampsia and almost lost my life. My blood pressure was through the roof and Drs were afraid of stroke. Fortunately I made it through. After this I had to take time off of work to heal from my surgery ,and to recover from my preeclampsia. My maternity leave was unpaid from my employer, and my short term disability deemed this not serious enough to cover anything financially.!! Last year I lost my dad very Suddenly and unexpectedly to cardiac arrest. My dad was the best man I've ever known and would always help me in financial hiccups. I don't have a net now. I'm trying not to lose my car and get my rent paid.i am back to work and working as much as possible but it's difficult with four kids and all the bills to get back on track.
