Support a Mother Fighting to keep Custody Rights

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out because I’m currently going through a custody battle with my ex-husband. His parents have significant financial resources, and even his attorney acknowledged that they won’t struggle to cover their legal expenses. For me, funding my attorney has become a major challenge, especially since he pushed for a jury trial. I believe he knows there’s no real case, but he also knows that a trial is far more costly, which is especially difficult for me as a single mom. Sadly, he’s working to reduce my time with our boys as much as possible.

I’m fighting for my two sons, ages 12 and 13. My 13-year-old has recently been in and out of the ER and is now on stress medication, which has only strengthened my resolve to ensure they feel safe and supported. Although there have been times he wasn’t present or communicative, I’ve always tried to maintain a healthy co-parenting dynamic for their sake.
