My name is Defenia, my son is very sick and he has been in the hospital for almost 10 days. He is in a state where he can't, do anything for himself, follow commands, recognize anyone, or eat or drink on his own. The hospital that he is in wants to discharge him because he doesn't have insurance and they told me that no one would accept him without it. My son is 30 years old and if I bring him home I would be responsible for all his medications, supplies, and anything that I may need for his care. I cannot afford anything related to what he need in order to help him survive if he comes home. The staff at the hospital told me to try Hospice and I refuse to put him in Hospice because he doesn't have insurance for that either. If there is something that can be done, I don't understand why they want me just to allow him to die, NO that's unexceptional! I need help because my son's life depends on his treatment. If not my son will probably be deceased by Christmas and I don't want that. I am caring for my Grandmother who is on Hospice and now they want me to put my son in there too and watch both of them fade away...Again unexceptional!! So if you all don't mind can you help donate anything towards my son's medical expenses, it would be very much appreciated. Thank you, and may god bless every one of you.
