On August 8th, 2025, our lives were shattered in an instant. A sudden car explosion triggered a devastating fire that completely destroyed our home. My 7-year-old son and I were out eating breakfast at the time. By the time we came home, everything we owned was gone.

We are incredibly grateful to be safe, but we are now starting over with absolutely nothing. Our clothes, furniture, food, important documents, my son’s school supplies, his toys — all of it was lost in the fire. As a mother, it’s heartbreaking to watch my child go through something so traumatic and not be able to provide the comfort of home.

We’re currently trying to find a safe place to stay and begin the long journey of rebuilding our lives. I’m humbly asking for help — whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this fundraiser. Every bit of support will go toward securing housing, clothing, food, school essentials, and other basic needs for my son and me.
