Support a Mom's Fight Against Rare Cancer
Donation protected
In April 2023, my mom was first diagnosed with cancer. During her treatment of chemotherapy and radiation, she developed internal bleeding. She overcame this challenge.
In April 2024, the doctors informed us the cancer was growing and spreading. My mom continued chemotherapy; unfortunately, radiation was no longer an option. In January 2025, we were again told the cancer is spreading, so another chemotherapy was introduced. Unfortunately, it did not work.
In April 2025, the oncologist informed us the cancer is still growing and spreading, and there is another treatment called target therapy that we can try to continue my mom's life. Unfortunately, after multiple appeals, insurance continues to deny my mom this treatment. One cycle of treatment is $16,000 out of pocket. We are asking for any donations to help us pay for my mom's treatment. We humbly ask for help for 3 cycles of the medication.
My mom has a very rare type of cancer. She has completed radiation, 2 surgeries, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, 3 different chemotherapies, and one immunotherapy. Her options are getting smaller and smaller for treatment, and the oncologist believes target therapy medication has the potential to extend the length of my mom's life. She has overcome many obstacles in her life and has been fighting for her life since April 2023. She now fights to survive until her youngest daughter's wedding.
She has dedicated her entire life to helping others, especially underprivileged families and children. My mom has given her entire life to helping others and has never asked for help in her whole life. She is a first-generation immigrant woman from Poland and raised all three of her children on her own. We accept any donations with much love and gratitude.
