Help a Mom–Daughter Team Get Reliable Transportation to Work and Move Forward

We’re a mom and daughter rebuilding our lives after surviving homelessness, loss, and hardship. What we need most now is a safe, reliable car so I can return to caregiving work and my daughter can continue building her bright future. We’ve come so far — we just need a little help to take the next step forward.

Hello everyone, my name is Spring, and I’m a mom doing my best to build a stable, meaningful life for my 16-year-old daughter and myself. Life has tested us in more ways than I can count — we’ve survived a year of homelessness, the theft of a vehicle, and even the heartbreaking loss of our pets. Through it all, we never gave up.

Right now, our biggest obstacle is transportation. The car I own is no longer safe to drive, so we walk where we can or rely on delivery services. Without a dependable vehicle, it’s nearly impossible for me to work or for my daughter to pursue her next steps toward independence which would include her driver's license.

With a reliable car, I can return to caregiving work — something I love and have a true passion for — and provide for my daughter while building stability. In the future, I hope to become a certified end-of-life doula, combining my caregiving skills with specialized training to support people and families during life’s most meaningful moments. Reliable transportation now is the first step toward making that dream possible.
