Support a Mom: Replace Her Totaled Car

Hi everyone.

In October of 2024, my car was totaled in an accident that was no fault of mine. My daughter and I were okay, but my car was destroyed.

Like everyone, I need a car to be able to get to my job and take my daughter around. All of the things. Not financially able to get any funds together to be able to buy anything, my boss was kind enough to lend me a company car to drive to work while I saved.

Every time I get a few dollars saved, some other emergency comes up and wipes me out. I know that’s a feeling we all know.

I'm now out of time, I have to return the company car - which was only supposed to be a month or so but turned into 5 months. My boss has been extremely generous, but he needs the car rightfully returned.

I'm a single mom. I don’t have any family to help with any of the day-in, day-out running around. Never mind I’ll lose my job without being able to get there. And at 52, trying to start a new career over is not easy, and I don’t have the money to just sit and wait. I have to work every day.

All proceeds will go to the purchase of a used car. My boss has helped me find one that is safe, but it’s $2000.00 + insurance. And I don’t have access to that kind of money at once.
