In an instant, everything changed.

Following a tragic boating accident in Bear Lake, Lilia devoted wife, loving mother of three, and cherished friend is facing a future she never could have imagined.

During the accident, she was pulled beneath the boat and struck by the propeller, resulting in catastrophic injuries and the traumatic bilateral amputation of both of her legs.

She has already undergone multiple surgeries and remains hospitalized as she begins the long road of healing, rehabilitation, and rebuilding her life. She is the proud mother of three children, ages 16, 8, and 2. While she fights to recover, her husband, children, and loved ones are navigating the overwhelming emotional, physical, and financial challenges that come with a life-changing injury.

The road ahead will include continued medical care, rehabilitation, prosthetic limbs and related care, home and vehicle modifications for accessibility, travel to and from the hospital, lodging near the hospital, childcare, lost household income, daily living expenses, and many unforeseen costs associated with her recovery.

Our hope is to ease as much of that burden as possible so this family can focus on what matters most: healing, recovery, and being together. This fundraiser has been created with the full knowledge, permission, and support of the family.
