Support a Mom After Car Accident

As salaamu alaikum,

A beloved sister in our Tacoma community has suffered from a bad car accident. Alhamdulillah she is not severely injured, but we await news on her condition as time passes and the full impact of the accident is realized. Her car is now unusable, with its interior parts impacted and her wheels destroyed. Her insurance will not support covering the costs, deeming it so far gone that it is not worth fixing.

She is a single mother who is the sole provider for her daughter. Without a car, she is unable to go to work or bring her child to school. Her car is now in the police impound.

Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever relieves a Muslim of a burden from the burdens of the world, Allah will relieve him of a burden from the burdens on the Day of Judgement. And whoever helps ease a difficulty in the world, Allah will grant him ease from a difficulty in the world and in the Hereafter. And whoever covers (the faults of) a Muslim, Allah will cover (his faults) for him in the world and the Hereafter. And Allah is engaged in helping the worshipper as long as the worshipper is engaged in helping his brother.”
