I have a passion for teaching and learning! I believe that the teaching environment needs to be conducive to learning and growing! The classroom environment needs to be welcoming, organized and spark motivation in students. I will be using the wonderful donations to purchase new furniture for the classroom.

I am inheriting a wonderful gift of 3D printers. The printers need a secure table to sit on and the students need enough room around the printers to ignite creative growth.

The desks the students currently have do not promote collaboration. It is essential in a 21th century classroom to create an environment that will mimic the real world. In the real world, you are not isolated. You are expected to work as a team to collaborate, create, drive forward and motivate. I know adding tables and chairs will enhance student success in and out of the classroom. Future expectations need to be modeled for students to have success outside of the classroom.
