The Mission: Healing, Hope, and Inclusion

Hello, my name is Dr. Keisha Powell—Certified Autism Specialist, Sexual Abuse Trauma Therapist, and CEO of Powell Therapy Solutions, LLC. This August through October 2025, I will be traveling to South Korea on a self-funded, volunteer mission to support a deeply underserved population: autistic children and children and young adults of African refugees living in South Korea.

These children, born to African parents who fled persecution, conflict, and violence in their home countries, now face a new set of challenges. Living as refugees in a foreign land, they struggle with trauma, identity, and inclusion, often in silence. With limited resources and little access to culturally aware, trauma-informed care, their needs go unmet.

There needs to be a change, and I will need your help.
