Dear mortals, fairies, and fans of theatrical mischief—

What happens when a group of passionate artists, a few meddling sprites, and a whole lot of glitter decide to stage Shakespeare’s most magical comedy? Chaos. Romance. Laughter. And (with your help)…a truly unforgettable show.

This August, Neidenthal Productions—founded by me, Jaclyn Neidenthal—is putting on a wildly enchanting performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by the brilliant Madeleine Childers. But before our lovers can flee into the forest and our fairies can wreak havoc, we need one little thing:

Magic Dust. (Also known as funding.)

We’re aiming to raise $3,000 to cover:

    •    Fairy wings and forest enchantments (okay, also costumes and props)

    •    Lighting spells and sound sorcery (aka tech rentals)

    •    Rehearsal space where the drama unfolds (onstage and off)

    •    Programs, posters, and promotional fairy scrolls

    •    Support for our hard-working, mostly volunteer cast & crew

Why It Matters.

Because theatre is magic. Not just the kind with fog machines and twinkly lights, but the kind that changes people.

This show isn’t backed by a big budget or a flashy company. It’s made by a group of creatives who believe that stories still matter—that laughter, wonder, and connection are essential. It’s made by people carving out time, energy, and heart simply because they love it.

We’re building a space where emerging actors can take big risks, where audience members of all backgrounds can come and feel something, and where the sheer joy of live performance reminds us we’re human—and that’s a beautiful thing.

This production is also about reclaiming the joy of collaboration. About proving that independent, artist-led projects can thrive. And about inviting you—yes, you—to be part of something joyful, weird, heartfelt, and unforgettable.
