Honoring Ronald B. McCarthy – Floral Tribute Fund
Goal: $500
We are heartbroken to share the passing of Ronald B. McCarthy, a visionary leader and the architect behind the United States Air Force’s Airfield Criteria—a foundational system that has ensured the safety, precision, and functionality of military airfields across the globe.
But Ronald was more than just a brilliant engineer and strategist—he was a great military leader, a true friend, and a mentor to countless people throughout the Air Force community. His legacy lives on not just in the airfields that bear his influence, but in the hearts and minds of those he led, taught, and inspired.
In honor of his remarkable life and service, we are raising funds to provide a formal funeral wreath for his memorial service—something worthy of the respect and admiration he earned over a lifetime of dedication.
Our Goal: $500
This will cover:
• A large, high-quality floral wreath suitable for a military tribute ($300–$350)
• Delivery and setup at the memorial service
• Any remaining funds will be provided directly to Ronald’s family to assist with arrangements or as a token of appreciation from those who respected and loved him
If you served with Ronald, were mentored by him, or simply want to honor the legacy of someone who gave so much to his country and his community, we humbly invite you to contribute.
Thank you for helping us pay tribute to a true patriot, a beloved leader, and an unforgettable man.
