Support a Loving Father and Husband

We are raising money for our father who became very ill quickly and was admitted to Glens Falls Hospital yesterday afternoon. He was transferred to the ICU unit and will be sent to Albany Med for more intensive care. He was diagnosed with pneumonia, flu, and multiple organ failure and has been on a ventilator since yesterday.

Vincent, North Creek born and raised, has always put his family first. Always adding humor into every interaction he could, he always made time to take us fishing, show us how to run heavy equipment, pretty much throwing himself into whatever we were interested in. We always came first. Up until a few years ago, he was also a man who dedicated himself to his work, always going above and beyond, taking those extra shifts or cutting more logs than his truck could possibly take just so he could buy his family whatever we wanted or needed. A few years ago, he had a work-related accident that caused him excruciating pain every day. He still pushed himself to help others even though he was in so much pain afterwards he couldn’t move the next day. He is the type of person who puts others before himself.

We are asking for some financial support at this time as his wife, Debbie, has been by his side since he was admitted yesterday and will continue to be throughout this entire process. Because of this, there is little to no income coming in. With the increase in the cost of fuel and other necessities on a fixed social security income with no room for unplanned expenses and his recovery being an extended period away, this simply is not possible. We ask that you look into your hearts and help as you would want to be helped. He has not only been dedicated to his family, friends, and pets, but also his community.
