Support a Louie’s Nursery Menifee Staff Member

Hello, at Louie’s Nursery Menifee our staff is like family. When one of our own is in need, we answer the call to action, and do all we can to help them weather hardship. We also consider the nursery to be an important part of the community here in Menifee, and hope our loyal customers can help us to to support one of our own. A valued employee, Dawn Vaughn, is known around our nursery as a plant expert and landscape design extraordinare. She runs her own business providing landscape design services around the area, and works Sundays at Louie’s, calling her Sunday shifts her ‘church’. Sadly, Dawn’s husband Joe was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer this year.

Cancer is cruel and nondiscriminatory in who it takes from us, and Joe unfortunately lost his battle with cancer on August 29th. In the face of this tragedy, we would like to extend the line of support beyond those that the Vaughn’s know and our tight-knit family at Louie’s. Donations to this cause will cover expenses and help our Dawn to shoulder the awful burden of navigating through this unexpected grief. We believe that the support shown here speaks to the tremendous community built around this wonderful nursery that binds us all. Thank you.
