We are Cami Herin and Parker Salter, Southern Boone High School seniors honored to be part of the 2024 Homecoming Court. We are participating in a fundraising competition to support a local student Layne Johnson. Your donation will go to Layne and his family to help support them in their time of need. Laynes Story~

Layne Johnson, a resilient sophomore at Southern Boone High School, is facing an unexpected journey of recovery. After a dance performance injury led to the discovery of a benign tumor, Layne underwent surgery and is now overcoming multiple post-operative complications. Despite temporary setbacks and extended time at the hospital, Layne's determination inspires hope as he undergoes treatment and testing to manage severe stomach pain.

In this trying time, his family has tried to stay by Layne’s side as much as possible, but the financial burden of medical bills and time away from work has added more stress for the Johnson family.
