Hello Friends, over the past 17 years of owning Hot Rods we have supported many fundraisers, Bike Runs, charities and sports teams! Now for the first time, I’m on the asking side to help raise money for a great group of kids playing on a 2nd & 3rd grade AAU team out of New London, coached by Allan Chaney. My son, Roen, plays on the team and it has been amazing watching the transformation of these kids. There are a lot of expenses associated with travel ball as I am just finding out and as many of you know. Some of the kids can use some help with the expenses and I offered to help Coach raise money to help offset some of the costs and take some the financial burden off the kid’s families. I am trying to raise $3,000 (if just a percentage of my friends donate $5, we can reach this goal) if we go over, and I know I have a lot of generous friends , the funds will be used to support the program which also has older New London kids. Positive Adversity Playmakers AAU Basketball

The mission of Positive Adversity Youth Services is to help youth accomplish their goals by providing mentorship, essential daily and extracurricular supplies, and scholarships. We stimulate leadership, respect, teamwork, responsibility, and creative skills. We take pride in helping our youth reach their goals in life. Positive Adversity Playmakers AAU Basketball was created to provide elite basketball training, physical fitness, teamwork, leadership, and community advancement focused to underserved youth. The goal is to give our youth lifelong memories and experiences that will help them in the future. We encourage youth to join our program starting at the age of 4 years old as we prepare and groom them for them future, on and off the court.  Your donation will go towards our youth in the program, uniforms/equipment/gear/travel/tournament fees and enrichment opportunities. Donors will be listed as an official sponsor on our website!
